Lessons for piano can be offered to some children from the age of five years old, there is however, no upper age limit!
Becki will begin lessons by showing the beginner student some basic piano techniques. Then usually, the 'Michael Aaron Piano Tutor Course' books will be offered, followed by the opportunity to progress to ABRSM Examination books, or, the students own choice of repertoire.
Being small and lightweight, the descant recorder is a wonderful instrument for a young child begin their musical journey.
Recorder is often taught in primary schools and Becki can provide some extra 'out of school' tuition, in perhaps preparation for that all important school concert, or, work towards ABRSM Exams by beginning with their child friendly 'prep test' book.
Broarden your musical ability by learning to play the flute. The flute is a natural progression from the recorder, with fingering being very similar.
Whether you would like to take exams or would just simply like some extra tuition, Becki can provide lessons to suit your needs.
Should you be looking for an accompanist, Becki can provide this too!
Keyboard lessons can be offered to students who are aged five years and above.
Becki will begin keyboard lessons by showing the beginner some basic keyboard techniques. The 'Kenneth Baker Complete Keyboard Player' books (or similar) will then be offered to the student, followed by the opportunity to work towards recognised qualifications, or, own choice of repertoire.
