Founder’s Notes
Hi, my name is Becki. I teach the flute, recorder, keyboard and piano. I have delivered high quality musical tuition with Technics Music Academy and Yamaha Music Schools within the West Midlands area, in state schools and private home tuition for over eighteen years. I teach using a method of hearing, playing and reading as I find that this helps to broaden students musical ability whereby playing ‘by ear’ and reading ‘musical notation’ may become possible. Many of my students opt to play ‘for fun’, tho should you wish to take formal exams then this is possible too. My youngest student was just five years old when he took his first piano exam and passed! My eldest student was in his eighties and he passed his organ exam with flying colours – what an achievement!
